Born and raised in the east-central town of Winchester, Indiana, Leesa lived on the same block her entire life. So packing up and moving across the country was a huge decision.

After high school, Leesa remained in her hometown of fewer than 5,000 people. Choosing to raise my family in Winchester was never a hard decision to make. Living in what was once her grandparents' old homestead, the family-friendly atmosphere made for a great place to live and watch your kids grow.

Her newspaper career began in December 1994. Beginning as an Advertising Representative, she was promoted to Advertising Manager and then to Publisher in 2004. In 2009 she made the decision to leave the newspaper industry to open her own print and ad agency.

Although the company proved successful, she missed the newspaper industry in September 2017.
